Chief’s Message

The Mont Vernon Fire Department is an On-Call Fire Department. This terms refers to a Department whose members are paid when responding to an incident. Members of the Department volunteer their time for many activities, including trainings, safety programs, town events, inspections, and issuing permits.

The Department trains twice a month, covering all aspects of today’s fire service. Members are highly trained professionals who work together to insure they maintain their skills and knowledge.

As a Volunteer / On-Call Fire Department, we rely on the citizens of our town to maintain the staff to protect us. If you have a desire to help out others, be involved in town activities, and like a challenge. Contact us and become part of a team whose duty it is to help and protect those in need.
