How to reach us

In case of Emergency

To summon help in an emergency call 911. When the call is answered, and the telecommunicator at the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) in Concord learns that you need assistance from the Fire Department, your call will be transfered to our dispatch center. The department is dispatched by radio from the Milford Area Communications Center (MACC-Base). MACC-Base will notify the department of the emergency according to established policies and procedures.

Routine business

If you wish to contact the department, and it is not an emergency, call the department business line at 673-1383. You can leave a message on the answering machine. A department representative will return your call within a few days. Remember, the station is not staffed on a regular basis. It may take time for us to get your message.

To obtain a permit for an outside fire

If you need a permit for an outside fire, check the information on this web site on Burn Permits. Remember, leaving a message at the fire station does not constitute issuance of a permit. Be sure to obtain a written permit before setting an outside fire.

Important, time sensitive business

If you have a situation which requires timely response, but in your estimation is not an emergency, contact our dispatch center via phone at 673-3131 and let the dispatcher know what it is that you need.
