Landowners interested in protecting their land can obtain assistance from a number of land trusts in the area:

Commission members, town officers, and concerned citizens who wish to learn more about land conservation and state laws concerning the protection of natural resources may find these links useful:

  • The Nashua Regional Planning Commission serves in an advisory capacity to local land use boards.
  • NRPC has published a Regional Open Space Strategy (ROSS) that highlights some of the guiding principals of Open Space protection and prioritization for the greater Nashua region.
  • State of NH Revised Statutes On-Line (RSAs)
  • Plan-Link is a state sponsored mailing list for the planning and land use community in New hampsire.
  • New Hampshire Association of Conservation Commissions is a private, non-profit association of municipal conservation commissions. Their Publication, "Handbook for New Hampshie's Municipal Conservation Commissions", is an absolute must for new Conservation Commission members.
