Native American History and Stoneworks in Mont Vernon, NH
Event Date:
Saturday, April 27, 2024 - 10:00am to 12:00pm

Our area has been populated by people for more than 10,000 years.  They left evidence of their love for this land in the form of rock stacks and walls which can be found throughout our town.  The best time to see them is in the spring, after winter's snow has compacted last year's leaves, and before the season's growth starts anew.  On Saturday, April 27th from 10:00 to 12:00, join MVHS president Anna Szok as she presents information on the cultures that created the stone works, and guides participants on a short hike to view examples.  Space is limited, so please email your interest to annaszok@yahoo.com.
