Prescription Drug Take-Back Box

The Mont Vernon Police Department teamed up with KidCents and The Rite Aid Foundation to provide a prescription drug take-back box within the police department. The drug take-back box is located within the hallway of the McCollom Building and is accessible any day between 8 am - 11 pm. The box provides a safe place for people to safely dispose of unused/unwanted medications anonymously. This allows for a safe disposal and reduces access to medications in the household.

The Mont Vernon Police Department participates in the DEA's National Drug Take-Back Day. During take-back days collection sites are set in local cities and towns throughout the nation for the safe disposal of prescription drugs.
