Domestic Violence

Domestic and sexual violence affects everyone in our communities. Right now it may be happening to a family member, friend, coworker, neighbor, or parishioner. It does not discriminate based on your age, gender, race, or financial status. It may be happening to you.

The Mont Vernon Police Department is committed to the protection of those suffering from domestic violence. We work diligently to ensure the safety of victims and we urge them in each case to contact our local crisis center.

Our local crisis center, Bridges – Domestic and Sexual Violence Support, has locations in Milford and Nashua. The services provided by Bridges are free and confidential. The services include a 24-hour crisis line (603-883-3044), shelter, court advocacy, including assistance with restraining orders, medical and legal options and referrals, peer counseling and support groups, and emotional support.  Please click on the link below for more information about how Bridges can help.
